Chocolate Hazelnut Granola

Ingredients (10 servings)

  • 2 cup Rolled oats
  • 2 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup, whole Hazelnuts
  • 5 tbsp Hazelnut butter
  • 5 tbsp Maple syrup

  1. Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Baking Sheet
    Preheat your oven to 170 C (340 F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients
    In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, cacao powder, salt and hazelnuts.
  3. Incorporate Wet Ingredients
    Next, add the hazelnut butter and maple syrup. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the Mixture into a Thin Layer
    Spread the granola mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, creating an even, thin layer.
  5. Bake for 20 Minutes
    Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes. There’s no need to toss the granola during baking.
  6. Cool Completely and Break Into Pieces
    Once baked, remove from the oven and allow the granola to cool completely. Break the cooled granola into desired crunchy pieces.
  7. Store for Up to 3 Weeks
    Store the granola in an airtight container at room temperature. It will stay fresh for up to 3 weeks.
